We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, clinically thorough, and committed to providing high-quality preventive and periodontal care in a professional and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services including scaling, polishing, and preventive care
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Take dental radiographs as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive strategies
- Identify and communicate oral health concerns to the dentist
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between patients
- Provide a professional, calm, and respectful patient experience
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Current licensure in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body
- CPR certification (current or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and standards of care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the dental team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Curve Hero or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
