Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services including scaling, polishing, and preventive care
• Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
• Take dental radiographs as required
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive strategies
• Identify and communicate oral health concerns to the dentist
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols
• Ensure operatory cleanliness and readiness between patients
• Provide a professional, calm, and respectful patient experience

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Current licensure in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body
• CPR certification (current or ability to obtain)
• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and standards of care
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the dental team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Curve Hero or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
